Ramon de Oliveira

Ramon de Oliveira has experienced times of trial and changes throughout his long career, having begun as a young professional in the late 1970s. He started off working in the field of investment banking and sales trading, but soon found himself focusing instead on equity markets and fixed income investments.
 

In the late 1980s to early 2000s, de Oliveira achieved great success with his role at JP Morgan where he was appointed head of Investment Management and Private Banking. He became a member of the executive committee and was involved in many high-profile negotiations such as the transition from JP Morgan to Chase Manhattan Bank as well as ownership stake acquisition of American Century mutual funds.
 

Outside his professional duties, de Oliveira also engaged deeply in arts and humanitarian affairs which earned him recognition from France, including knighthood from Chevalier des Arts et Lettres designation by the government.
 

For the last 14 years until today, de Oliveira has been running his own consulting firm RdeO Consulting LLC which offers strategic advice and communications services for clients. He has also been active with company boards including AXA Group, Hartford Insurance Company and Kaufmann Foundation among others. Furthermore, he served on the Investment Committee for Polish-American Freedom Foundation.
